SARAH OLGUIN

PreBallet, Ballet

Sarah grew up dancing in Klamath Falls where she finishd out her training with Carla Brannon from Carla’s Dance Studio. While at Carla’s, she trained in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, partnering, and aerial dance. She also had the opportunity to perform in special events such as Carmina Burana and Dancing in the Park. Growing up in Klamath, Sarah performed in Eugene Ballet Company’s Nutcracker tour numerous times, dancing in both the party scene and waltz of the flowers. In 2007 and 2008, Sarah attended the two week program of Summer Dance Lab in Walla Walla WA; and in 2008 was invited to stay for the full five weeks on scholarship. Sarah moved to Eugene in Sept. 2008 in hopes of pursuing her ballet career. She is currently spending much of her time dancing, but is also enrolled in the Early Childhood Education Program at Lane Community College. Sarah feels very blessed and is excited to be involved with Oregon Ballet Academy.
